Best Beaches In Cayman Islands

Cayman Kai Public Beach

Some of Caymans best snorkelling is right here. A beautiful white sandy beach with some rocky areas mixed in. This public beach has a small parking areas for cars, restroom facilities and a cabana. Located on the right hand side just before you get to Rum Point.

Cemetary Beach

A great place for snorkelling and a picnic. Located at the west end of the beautiful Seven Mile Beach. This beautiful beach is right in front of the cemetery. A gorgeous stretch of beach that is a little hidden from the road keeping it usually less crowded.

Governors Beach

A beautiful public white sandy beach in front of the Governors house in the middle of Seven Mile Beach.

Morritts Tortuga Resort Beach

Another beautiful white sandy beach, this one located in the East end of the island. Definitely worth the drive to this beach where you can also have drinks and lunch on the beach front tables. This beach also has a dock with a beach bar right in the middle offering awesome views. Lots of fish can be seen from the dock as you wander along. Large tarpon offer some great photo opportunities. This beach has rest rooms and offers cabanas for shade.

 

Public Beach

More beautiful white sand near the West end of Seven Mile Beach. This is a popular destination for locals and cruise ship guests as well. This beach offers lots of parking, restrooms, outdoor showers, chair and umbrella rentals. This beach is also the home of Cailico Jacks beach bar offering food and drinks and night time beach parties. A great destination for those wanting to walk the beach and explore. Stop here for a rest and refuel stop and admire the beautiful views before heading back to your resort.

 

Rum Point Beach

Rum point offers a beautiful sheltered and shallow beach with complimentary beach chairs. A perfect soft white sandy beach for young children and families. Rum Point has a beach bar and restaurant for a big selection of food and drinks.  They also have a Red Sail rental booth for all sorts of water activities. Snorkelling, jet skis, stingray tours and lots more. You can relax in a hammock or snorkel and swim in the beautiful calm shallow waters. A great place with lots of activities to spend the whole day. It is a nice little drive to the opposite end of the island. Drive to the East end and enjoy the beautiful ocean views around the island.

 

Smith Barcadere Park Beach

A small hidden park and beach just to the South of Georgetown in South Sound. Mainly an iron shore area but has this beautiful little hidden white sandy beach gem. This park offers picnic tables, restrooms, fresh water showers and lots of trees for shade. There is free parking right across the street. This beach offers great swimming and snorkelling along the iron shore.

 

Starfish Point

Another beautiful hidden beach this time in the East end of the island.  As the name implies this beach has many beautiful orange starfish you can see. Just a gorgeous beach area with calm shallow waters and soft white sand. It’s very secluded and may be a little tricky to find your first time. You have to drive all the way past Rum Point & Kaibo to the very tip of Cayman Kai. You will see the gates which make it seem like a private property. Park here and walk straight in to the beach area. You won’t be disappointed here !
